been a while

i haven't posted in a few months, even after repeatedly saying i should post more.. I am just so busy with my life falling apart, i forget. i have been doing some serious debating if i should open up to people about the downward spin of everything.

i am not going to, but i will tell you that this morning, i found my side view window on my mini busted.. a few mailboxes and another side mirror were cracked.. I guess that is summer time in bricktown.. asshole punks..

some other happenings.. i was all set to try and program an iphone app, but it turns out you need leapord OS, so that idea is on hold.

Mini golf outting on monday, should be a really good time, and well since i haven't been having a ton of those, i think it is time to turn this summer around.

jimmy buffet is june 20th, and i am thinking METS PHILLIES game July 5th.. sunday day game if anyone is interested.. hey does anyone read this anymore with all the facebooking and what not?

seriously.. i dont blog enough.. i am going to start doing them from phone.. i mean with all the facebooking going on lately... who reads blogs anymore...

well march came and went and april, as promised is kind of middle of the road.. this week was full of fun stuff. Nothing off the charts crazy, but we did the blue claws home opener and a trip to the MSG for the Circus ( Thanks jen for those tickets)

i am thinking of revamping gleny.com or changing it ,but that would require work, so bare with me till i figure out what exactly i want to do..

cinco de mayo is fast approaching and once that hits BAM... summer is right there. next friday april 17th is the Headliner VIP exchange so we will be stopping there to see some DADDY POP And get our new cards.. all of you people out there that swap, you should come this nite..

I am also thinking i should make my blog a facebook note, to see if people read it more that way. ( my blog never really gets read... partly because i suck at writing and well people come to gleny.com for photos... I would change that if i could.. but well you know me and type o's)

facebook and the like

well the last 3 months, facebook has really had a boom of popularity.. so i obviously have some thoughts on that...

Facebook is kind of doing what myspace did 2 years ago.. they get a big boom, then they decide to sell more and more ads... face book is going to get even more run over with ads than mysapce did i think... they have that become a fan of stuff section, and now i get emails and all kinds of alerts about stuff that i am a fan of... and what i dont like is all these rumors.. facebook will never charge to be a member of it, it doesn't have to... they will just put ad banners everywhere to pay for stuff.. they have all those apps, each of them is paid for by a sponsor...

I have to take a moment and once again apologize for my lack of blogging... i really spend all my time on facebook... well i still work, and do the husband thing, March was loaded with events, feel free to check out all those photos..

working on a plan to run way with a midget, tricia and johnee bee right now, we will see how that goes, we are looking for 3 more... just check out my facebook for info.. and seriously, if you are on there... my name is glenn kislowski and you really should join the gleny.com travel and events team so you know where and when you are supposed to go out drinking and having fun...

parade season is finally here

march is here and even though it is still crazy cold out there, the parades are here..

before the parades there is one event that is a gleny.com classic.. THE POLARBEAR PLUNGE is feb 28th this year, and it is SEASIDE again, which is great,cuz the cops are very chill and i am not sure what the theme will be this year, but i am thinking about a leapord thong and loin cloth for myself.. so come on out, if you wanna register early it is SONJ.org. raise 100$ for special olympics, get a cool fleece. And free food.

ok, on to the schedule and some quick details

MARCH 1st... BELMAR parade... starting at PK shamrocks on 17th ave ... neighbor joe is bartending and i am pretty sure we will be glitter spraying everyone again. also a great place to grab your breakfast sammies..

MARCH 14th- SEASIDE parade.. not sure if we are going to sneak into parade with the bus or just bar hope yet.. either way, we hit BAMBOO, SAWMILL and KLEEs...

MARCH 21st - ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS.. the bus is once again being sponsored by our friends at THE CLAM HUT.. we are registered and dying to try out our new sound system..

as for the 7th.. it is a friend's bachelor party and i will be busy... the 17th is a tuesday so we will probably just do a little bar a stop... so much green this month..

as for the holidays, the bday and 3 xmas parties last week all went well.. family xmas was also good, hosted here for like 20 people..

as for new years, since people always ask me, i have decided to just have people over.. no noisey sloppy open bar sloppy buffet for me this year.. if anyone is tired of that scene and wants to come by, just let me know..

what is new tech wise.. i jailbroke my iphone.. a few bumps, but i have it set up to do live video blogs.. that is right, live streaming video.. i will try and do little updates from events, but i might do a MiniManRoom SHow SHow.. like 10 minutes clips.. live , we will see.. all the live feeds are archived..

hard day of cleaning up in the manroom

Today I spent most of the day cleaning and straightening up the manroom.. Thanks to my buddy hollister, it is looking pretty good... There are a few events coming up in november and december and some of them require the manroom...

The show? yup, the manroom show will be taping a couple episodes, we are looking to sell it to a network or something, so the next 2 episodes will be like pilots.. clean, scripted, fun, but still foot loose and frisky... I need 2 really good bands, and well 2 other acts.. i think pete will be painting, so i need like a comedian or something.. shows tape. nov 10 and 24th. Please contact me.
