In dc today there is a giant pro-life rally. I thought abortion issues were so 10 years ago. I never understood. If some one is pro-choice they can choose to not have an abortion. The whole American system is based on freedom of choices. Why or how does that not cover this. Anyways. MSNBC contributor Donny Deutsch said on the cable network's show "Morning Joe" that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin resembles the darling of MTV's "Jersey Shore."

So this week after obama's memorial speech in tuscon, most of the right wing media complimented him and for a lot of them it was the first time they actually agrees he WAS our president. Step 1. Now if he fixes the unemployment rate he has a good chance at re-election.

Redbull is not for vegetarians. So red bull has taurine in it. Taurine is made from bull bial or stomach lining. I feel like and idiot. It is so obvious. Red bull? Bull on the label!! I picked the one upset. The jets snuck an upset too. I absolutely do not think they have a chance against the pats
Sunday games. I haven't seen one kc game this year. All I know Is the ravens looked good offensively and defensively this season. If they all show up, the ravens can beat the cheifs.
We all know how I feel about Vick. 4 wins to a puppy. Today is win one. Everyone says what green bay has to do to beat the eagles. No one says what the eagles has to do. I think Vick at home gets at lest 300 combined yards, the only way greenbay can win is of they hit Vick 12 times. Maybe 2 hard sacks and an int. We shall see

New battery in shortbus
Today I bought a new battery for the shortbus. It had the same that came with it from the junkyard like 5 years ago. Well now she has 2 new batteries. Cost was $65. So the this weeks's springer road trip will cover the battery and the next event might cover registration

The past
Well today and actually for like 9months. The past has been coming back to pester me.
Short story: a girl buddy of mine, we will not use her real name but long time fans would surely recognize her southern region marine sea life tattoos, has become or is about to become a teacher. I hadnt spoken to her or seen her for months before. Well she needs all her photos odd Gleny.com. I took down the racy section right away. And gave it a little time for deleting. It just takes a lot of time to go through. Gleny.com has over 100,000 photos and the ones in question where from 2004-2007. just got the "my attorney will be contacting you" text. so that is my morning. I am not worried about the attorney. Law on my side. Public place, full knowledge of intent. What ever. It is the hassle and I am honestly try to help her out. Just hours of free time aren't that easy to come by and waste on a person who never did hours of favors for me. If that makes sense. And it is so low priority that when I am free it doesn't even come up in my mind
Anyways. That is my morning. And off to work I go

The Jews must be happy
News and politics is crazy. But with all the gay bullying and Mexican border chasing, with all the Muslim hating and now that being black had it's 15 min of fame, the Jews are so far under the radar they must be super happy.
Like 2 weeks til mid terms and it seems like only the crazy candidates are getting any press. Abolish 2 party system and just have candidates who want to apple problem from for office. I have heard like 3 people even offer any ideas.
Question. Why do republicans hate infrastructure building. I mean we rebuild nations all the time. Iraq and pakastan recently. Why not like Nj or some USA levies?
On a lighter note. Halloween is coming, and that is always a good time. Friday happy hour @ bar a. Headliner that nite. Saturday is the zombie walk and satrday nite is bar a's Halloween. Lots of happy hours those 2 days. Ask about em. Or Facebook me. Sunday we are back in the NYC Halloween parade thanks to captain John.

I just read the 30 something page pledge to america. It has about 12 paragraphs of action. About 20 pages of democrat bashing. 10 full color pages of sappy American shit. ie. The statue of liberty anf mt rushmore.

The GOP guy running for NY governor is absolutely the creepiest guy to run for office in a while. He got caught emailing horse fucking a girl video and when they ask him, he just says "I could see how that could offend some kinds of people" then goes on record to say he is a person of cristian conservative values. Classic.

Could political over promising cost 11 senate seats?
10 weeks til election. Senate is 60dems. So of the GOP wants senate control they need 11 more wins. That is a tall order. Not impossible, they did it after Clinton. And Obama is the dem party leader, ya know cuz he is the president and what not. He really over promised the last year.
I don't think all his goals were realistic and I have trouble thinking people thought he would do all he said in 2 years. And sure as shit the GoP haven't helped him with anything, hate newsing, fillabustin', trying to convince America he is a Muslim and not an actual American. Shit like that. And further more the dem party is a stack of pussies. They have all the control and pass a few half assed laws and plans.

Yah the oil cap is holding. My predictions. The job number will rise for a few months spending bp money to fix the spill. I think 1 good hurricane and most of it will clean itself. todays news
i had a few hours to watch the news..
here is my take
THE GROUND ZERO MOSQUE... every time i comment on 9-11 stuff, i always catch a lot of heat.. i am gonna make this basic.. why haven't we build a building there yet? in dubai, they build the tallest building in the world in 6 years.. we have nothing at 9-11.. i think people that are against the mosque there, yes they are racist.. I do think if they made a mosque there, that would just be asking for hassle and headache and hate.. i dont think a place of worship of any kind would make sense there.. build a few office buildings and a monument park.. should be done already
GULF OIL CAP... i am writing this as the guy who is in charge of todays BP oil capping is about to make a press statement.. over 80 days. get the leak stopped and take 3 years to clean it up.. and I do beleive that BP knew it was dangerous, but i mean it is drilling for oil a mile under sea level... we all knew it was dangerous.. on a political spin on the spill, i do love the republicans already flip flopping to be pro environment.. and that a cleaner earth is a cheaper earth.. that slays me..

iPhone 4
Love my new iPhone. I recently had the 3G. And the iPhone 4 is so, so much faster. I love it
I haven't dropped any calls yet but there is a glitch when I video commentate too much and flip around. The flash dissappears. I just reset and it is back. I use the flash from the video as a working flashlight. Very handy. Very.
Love the photo booth feature and front camera. I will be video blogging like crazy now. I am back to work. So see ya out there

midget cruise
Captains log
5-21-10... About 2pm.
We are safely in our state room.. Iggy, Louie and I are all set for adventure… the ship is cool.. I mean the it has bars and ice cream all over the place.. I have already eaten twice and we haven’t left the port yet. So that and booze, I am probably looking for about 30,000 calories expected. The wi fi isn’t free, so I have chosen to just give my self 30mins a day.. So I doubt I will get to chat with all my land locked friends.. If you have something pressing, obviously email me, I will probably budget my time into a few log in and logs out through out the day.
Already booked for tomorrow is a 5 pub bar crawl… we are quite excited.. And the Hawaiian shirts will make their debut… first off I immediately want to thank Dicky. He is the coordinator of this trip.. I guess there are like 40 of us… He has his event planning shit together.. I mean he is like 50, so he has a few years on me, but just to give you a taste.. The tour bus picked us up near the midgets house and not 10minutes after we were rolling, the bloody Marys were flying… now it wasn’t a rookie Mary, they had olive, celery and a jumbo shrimp cocktail.. So of course I had 2 and if anyone knows, I am allergic to shellfish, and the effects are fantastic.. It makes me whacky.. Yes whacky.. I won a MILLER HIGH LIFE t-shirt and a gold ball floatie game thing, that he took a marker and scratched out FOXWOODS and put BERMUDA on it. We arrived on time and checked in ..

We took our first dip in the pool… but were asked to not slide down the pirate’s cove slide as it is for children… I mean the midgets are below 36inches… haha… oh well…We hit the casino. And ate a few dinners… actually I hadn’t slept since like Wednesday nite, so we were asleep by like 10pm
5-22-10 early to rise…
We tapped into our stow away vodka and had about a dozen illegal cocktails… Louie even had a beer… I was a little shaky in the morning with the seasickness, but don’t you worry.. I still carried on the consiment party professional that I am.. The Pub Crawl started at 130.. 5 bars, and 5 drinks, in like 2 hours… we also had a few challenges.. Without embarrassing myself too much, I got chosen as team representative… for the honkey tonk padunka dunk dance contest… I came in 5th place out of 6 teams.. Rough… we made a flag out of a napkin and some ketchup and we had a fuckin blast… but we didn’t win MVDs… oh well.. We wanted to do karaoke but it was pre-empted due to the Celtics game.. The bar a was busy with Boston fans… The 70s dance party was kind of cool.. But too many people who actually used to party in the 70s were there…

5-23-10 BERMUDA day 1
11am and we have embarked onto Bermuda.. We stayed close to the ship today. Visited the brand new snorkel park beach… it was alright, kind of mini jenkensons… had a few rum swizzles… saw some bikini girls… The water is super blue here… a little windy and the sun is hot.. 2 hours and I am tan already… and don’t worry ladies…I have some tan lines to prove it. We spent a good part of the afternoon talking to locals planning our day tomorrow… as of right now we are doing coral beach, crashing the heritage parade, the after party festival and then some flanigans for dinner…
We had some dinner, then karokeed for a few hours.. It was just 10-12, but they extended it 90 minutes. A fantastic time.. Lots of singing and singing along… Met some cougars.
5-24-10 Bermuda day 2
Woke up and it was rainy… we had to adjust our plans.. Instead of 2 beachs, we went with the crystal caves . They looked like any other cavern style caves.. It was a fun time.. And when we emerged from the caves, the sun was shining.. We took the pink bus to Hamilton and enjoyed the heritage parade. We found 2 nice sets of locals to tailgate with, they gave us some drinks and some grub. New cougar friend Tammy couldn’t get enough of little local black kid photos.. I swear she is going to buy herself one when she gets back to the states. We learned about traditions and the GUMBEYs.. Danced a lot, took tons of photos.. Even got to march a few blocks with a family and their steel drum band.
We came back, swam a little and showered. Had a nice sushi dinner with iggy and Amanda. Dinner was excellent.. Above average sushi, but let met tell you it was the best green tea ice cream/ coconut ice cream combo sundae I have ever had. Then went to the on ship’s Disco lounge. Iggy had a blast playing musical booty dancing chairs.. He got booted near the end and we had a very fun nite…
5-25-10 Bermuda day 3
We swapped our day 2 and day 3 plans, so we had to see HORSESHOE, CORAL and ELBOW beach today, the last day here. However the weather was not cooperative early.. So the travel group of 7 from day 2 was widdled down to Iggy and I. We delayed our excursion til like noon… but then we hopped on the Bus and headed to ELBOW beach. We got off the bus a stop too late and had to walk down this windy path back towards ELBOW beach. We came across a reggae style garbage man who recognized us from the parade.. We absolutely love that. The was very windy, and it wasn’t as pink as it could have been cuz of the recent rains.. We climbed on rocks, took some photos and marched on.. We headed south looking for CORAL beach, but we came to some rock.. So we cut through a resort, only to find out that we had walked onto CORAL beach and then to its end without even knowing.. We cut through the resort and after hopping a fence ran into Karen, the heads grounds keeper.. Talked to her a few minutes, helped her with some flower planting and were on our way..
We hopped back on the bus and headed back towards the ship with only 1 beach left on the list.. Horseshoe bay beach. It was really nice, we climbed a little lava rock mountain to get some awesome views and took some photos and carried on.. Once gain jumping on the bus to head to the rum cake factory. Also bought some bovine at a DOCKSIDE PHARAMCY.. Very shady sounding.. Got souvenirs. Boarded the boat, swam in pool and showered.. The we went to fine dining at the WINDOWS restaurant on the ship.. OK food, OK company.. Louie was acting up and a few of the party were wearing on me with their lack of charm. But I ate and smiled.. Tonight they had the ship’s WHITE HOT WHITE PARTY… Louie, Iggy and I had gotten extra white sheets from the porters and made some slammin togas.. Amazingly enough, no one else on board made toga… we were a huge hit.. Lots of people wanted our photos, the cruise director booked us for Wednesday nite’s comedy show.. Should be interesting and a few people bought us drinks..
Oh we also got to dance to ON A BOAT.. And of course I videoed it,, that will be you tube gold.
5-26-10 ON our way…show biz
We embarked yesterday and with the help of the motion sickness pills, I slept great.. Iggy and I walked around the ship eating and promoting our show tonight.. It was a nice relaxing day.. Then we swam and ate some more.. And ate some more.. Now we wait..
Once underway we met with Paul the cruise director about being in his one man comedy act.. The midgets got to take the stage and do the high-low on him, I ran up and wrangled them with the whistle.. It was a very good time…
5-27-10 walked around ship mingling all day, drinking and what not.. The cruise director paul and the boys and I had a great dinner tonight.. On pay of course.. I ate so much shelfish I was inches from going into ani-shock… good times.. Watched some improv comedy and a sleazy game show. The midgets did a few promo spots for pauls stand up comedy and we went to bed around 12
5-28-10 docking..
We pulled in around sunrise, did a few laps around the ship to say good bye to the crew and a few passengers then disembarked. We stood at the costums exit and took photos with the passengers we liked
And were accused of working for the ships some more.. Then we boared the bus to maine.. Great cruise.. I ate so much, I think I may never need to eat again.

a pretty eventful spring so far
Well the spring events have been quite colorful... Medieval times was amazing.. 36people came,everyone prepaid ( for the most part ) and it didn't have to shell out tons of money for this event.. this event really is setting a precedent for the future.. I love fun, I love the gathering of people and all the excitement, but it has been a long time coming that I shouldn't have to pay the lion share.. so lately people have really been stepping it up and I appreciate it..
on a bus note.. on the way home from the phillies game last Sunday, which was an awesome game, a great tailgate.. well except for some bitchy phillies girls next to us in the lot, the bus got 2 blow out flat tires.. Don't worry, my driving prowess once again saved lives.. The bus had to be towed and some of us didn't get home til 6am, and when starting at noon the day before that is a long tailgate i tell ya.. Well the bus needs 4 new tires and a few of my friends have already started chipping it.. it warms my cockals.. and for those of you that know me, my cockals are pretty warm on a regular basis.

spring is in the air
spring is here and i made it through another winter carnival of events.. and boy did it take its toll..
but i have recharged and regrouped and personally things are looking upwards.. Some fun events for april are
blueclaws for $1 on saturday april 17th..
medieval times on sunday april 25th.. 30 people paid and ready to go.. the carivan leaves around noon.. wear your craziest blue outfits..
may 2nd - phillies vs mets road trip.. the bus is going, if you want tickets, buy some , i think we are just drinking and watching in the bar... bus leaves around 2pm
and also something new and fun, learning how to take 3-d photos on my phone and i think i am going to try to do some 3d video.. at medieval times, i am going to be filming the first Gleny.com RoadShow.. of course belmar Matt Damon is my co-host and we are adding some Moxie to the mix... this is Moxie.

Idol blog
Last nite's American idol was horrible. (3-1-10). It was the Guys nite and 2 out 10 were barely ok. The other 8 sucked. And I mean really sucked. This is the 2nd week of top 24 and I can't even remember anyones name. That is a bad sign.
I hope the girls tonight are better cuz they blew last week too.

mid way through the winter
still have the plunge coming up, and then 2 parade days and then the pillow fight in nyc to close out the winter carnivale..
lots of new photos on gleny.com and i am still trying to blog a lot... a friend of mine is starting a short story blog and although i can't write short stories, she has been trying to get me to write long essays.. I go into these rants and he says i should just write them down and he can pound them into a diamond..
i am not going to write one now.. but i am going to tell a little story about the headliner annual pajama party...
it was last saturday, saturday the 20th.. it was i think the 4th year they have had it, and this by far was the best turn out. A lot of people where in pjs... not as many as could have been in sexy stuff, but i like a small tank top and some really thin pj pants fine enough.. we started at bar a for a free happy hour, 930-1030, they were having their half way to summer or summer reunion party and what not.. It was a really fast and booze filled hour.. then we headed over to the headliners. I ended up taking over 300 photos and posted about 190...
makes me miss that i forgot to have my own pj at the gleny dot compound this year.. maybe something here soon.. I am thinking jungle theme maybe...
well see you all saturday for the plunge, friday nite is tiki stadium for my first ever mechanical bull ride... i know i am so going to hurt myself

Another snow day!
Well I haven't blogged in like 2 weeks. A lot of people are probably wondering what I have been up to. Ok, well a few people realistically. with all this facebooking, less people read my blog, but I am hoping to bring em back.
last week we went to Jerry springer in CT. It was a riot. The first taping was mainly girls fighting cuz they were humping the same guys. Always classic. However the second taping we got escorted out of. This really was a new low for me, actually being below the social standards for springer. Mother fuckin springer? Really? Trannies, midgets, the Klan? But gleny and the blonde squad were too much.
The blonde squad? Yes. This winter I met 3 of the cutest fubbest blondes. They love camera and gave puppy like energy. Look for them at everything!
The annual groundhog trip was excellent. Well except for magic rack losing her mind. I mean I half expected it. But ya still hope it doesn't happen. Drama rack unfriended me on facebbok but is still dating one of best friends. We shall see how that all plats out. The inner circle told me that on my 10th year, I get to be an honorary member. Very excited. 2014 here I come!
this coming Monday is the 3 rd sleeve if the triple crown of snuggie fun ; snuggie karoke at bilows in Neptune. Everyone should come.

a few current movies
invictus - i really enjoyed this movie, it was about a political leader and was zero political. it was about rugby and the world cup and getting africans to get along.. i think it had a really cool soundtrack and well morgan freeman and matt damon did ok with the accents and didnt distract me from enjoying the sport scenes
up in the air - i have really liked the last few Clooney movies, the Goats one was great and he is quite charming on screen.. in this movie he gives motivational speeches about a back pack and how if you fill it with too much life shit, it wears ya down.. that spoke to me, my new back pack is going to be just the essentials.. i am keeping it lite from now on.
lovely bones - hated every second of this movie, had to watch it in 3 parts just to force my way through it.. even more than the acting or the camera works, were the lame special effects of purgatory and a god awlful ending. I may never see another peter jackson movie again, this movie was so bad it actually took away from how good the lord of rings trilogy and district 9 were
time travelers wife - got about half way through and gave up
brothers - also couldnt finish it
precious - about 20minutes in i slit my wrist and had to stop watching it
the blind side - LOVED this movie... i am not sure why, it was a good flick, i felt good watching it, it was well made and i even bought bullock's accent, which i was sure i wouldn't
AVATAR - was pretty much exactly what i expected, it was special effects masturbation and a decent story , acting was beleivable enough and i like when the underdog wins, even though you know they are going to the whole time.. no surprises but not a waste of time
SHERLOCK HOLMES - a great set up for about 4 movies.. it was good, action was nice, robert downey jr is really untouchable the last few years in money making movies.. tropical thunder, iron man, this one, then next iron man... he is on fire folks!

superbowl picks
just wanted to say way to go jets for a great game and a shot in the playoffs.. of course they wont go far, but good work for keeping their heads up and getting to the playoffs.. rookie head coach, rookie playoffs and plenty of chances for them to jets their way out of this season.
but realistically like i have been saying since day 1... VIKINGS VS PATS in the superbowl, it is the match up i like best, and i think it is totally possible.. the eagles and cowboys love to beat themselves , the saints look like garbage the last few weeks...
on the AFC side it comes down to colts vs pats almost every year and peyton is great but brady is greater... we will see

santa con, 12 racks of xmas are coming, and the GIFT idea of the day
SANTACON...
really whatever words i use here will fall short of this good time. It was amazing, it was ridiculous.. it was hands down the funnest group thing i have ever been a part of, and i have a long list of fun shit on my resume. Seriously.. this event should never be missed,, i would miss a funeral or a wedding for this, i mean you would have to arrest me and put me in jail next year for me to miss Santacon..
everyone was dressed up in serious holiday cheer, and what was unique was it was a 1000 strong of frisky people, that didnt make it perverted to raunchy.. it was just good clean holiday frisky cheer.. hungging and butt smacking.. a little cleavage, but it was this level of everyone looking the same and inhibitions just out the window like halloween.. that really was a vibe i had never felt before.. it is monday and i am still flying on adrenaline. Man the spelling in this blog sucks...
keith got left behind and hermes faded around 5... the naughty and nice elves needed a 2 hour nap, but they headed back out.. it was a good little team all and all, and i thank them.. for those that missed without a legit excuse, you are really the ones that missed out..

santa con 2009
up and getting ready for santa con.. this is a big time event , and i couldn't be more stoked about it. Myself and a few elves, along with a santa toga wearing keith are headed up to the city for what is going to end up being 15oo santas or more spreading holiday cheer and mayhem.
i have never been to the santa con, but i am going very prepared...

Tim Burton and the meatloaf confession
So last nite was my bday. Did the regular stops. It was a great nite, but at about 12, I hit the drunk wall. Ya know how it goes, free bday drinks for 6 hours always ends interestingly. Now I didn't play with the band this year. And I didn't lose my glasses or have any head trama. I got into a heated arguement about meatloaf and I think I was a real dick to chef matt. At that point I kicked myself out and called it a nite. Sorry matt.
In the city today at moma, loving the Tim Burton exhibit. Really good stuff, he has been sketching like 30 years, they have rooms and rooms.

The actor that plays Kramer is fantastic, he does the enterance into Jerry's apartment perfect, and when he cums, he does that shrug thing great. The actress that plays Elaine, although totally the wrong nationality, does a spot on performance... James Dean plays Jerry and beleive it or not i have met him in real life, at some diner in brooklyn.. He is pretty good..
I would give this one 7 out of 10 for a porn... i mean there is way too much acting and not enough action, there is no anal, and well to me why have a porn movie if you aren't gonna plow someone's booty hole.. But the sets and lighting are good.. the scenes are hot enough to get the job done... And well THE PORN NAZI was an awesome edition..

Tiger.... all i have to say is that i am proud of NIKE AND GATORADE for not caring about this bullshit story... hard boiled eggs... put in water, bring to boil for like 3 mintues, turn off, let stand like 8 minutes... i like to hardboil a dozen at a time, then put them back in their carton. If you put a few drops of food coloring in the water, they will be a different color so you don't crack open a raw egg thinking it is hard boiled.. Dont forget to check out my THANKSGIVING IN A PAN video...

New moon and some Amish
This weekend I will probably just work all weekend but if I was going to do anything. It would be to go see the new moon movie and also the Amish outlaws are playing at bar a on Friday.
Black Friday bar crawl is a go. I will probably do a little early black Friday shopping I feel like filming some crowds. Haha. I wanna see someone get trampled at walmart or something. The bar crawl starts at 5pm at bar a. Matt Damon will be home. So I think we are going indian and pilgrim costumes.

Hard to blog
I need to exercise, eat right and blog more often. I am at work, a slow nite so I am blogging from the shitter.
November is half through and that means the bday and the winter carnival are starting up. Adding snuggie Olympic bar craw and the bus will return to groundhog day. Also 2 plunges this year. And I think a return to Savannah for st patricks day.
Well 2010 is here and i hope everyone is ready. Ps

Rain and camping
Rain and camping do not mix. It is pouring out there so for the 2nd year in a row labor day week after camping will be cancelled. I had taken off so if there is anything fun going on that you think I should be involved in, please let me know. Sunday of course is bar a's annual pigskin pig roast. It should be a fun team. something a little different
well, again it has been way too long since my last blog.. and well although i have pages of stuff i could be talking about, most of that would bring you down..
some high notes.. we went to the phillies game last week, 14 of us strong in the shortbus and it was a wonderful time. zero drama, zero mechanical problems.. the new 2 battery system allowed us 3 hours of radio play and she just turned right over...
ok... here ya go, the first installment of COOKING OUTSIDE THE BOX... I have decided to write my book finally.. and part of it will include strange and gleny like cooking recipes.. here is a mini cooking show video to wet your appetite..
i hope you enjoy it.. next week is sharkweek, so look for something interesting, and I am going on the Bar A travel team boat trip again. Good times will sure happen folks..

been a while
i haven't posted in a few months, even after repeatedly saying i should post more.. I am just so busy with my life falling apart, i forget. i have been doing some serious debating if i should open up to people about the downward spin of everything.
i am not going to, but i will tell you that this morning, i found my side view window on my mini busted.. a few mailboxes and another side mirror were cracked.. I guess that is summer time in bricktown.. asshole punks..
some other happenings.. i was all set to try and program an iphone app, but it turns out you need leapord OS, so that idea is on hold.
Mini golf outting on monday, should be a really good time, and well since i haven't been having a ton of those, i think it is time to turn this summer around.
jimmy buffet is june 20th, and i am thinking METS PHILLIES game July 5th.. sunday day game if anyone is interested.. hey does anyone read this anymore with all the facebooking and what not?
enough for now.. more to come. i am going to force myself into mini blogs everytime i check my email on my computer

seriously.. i dont blog enough.. i am going to start doing them from phone.. i mean with all the facebooking going on lately... who reads blogs anymore...
well march came and went and april, as promised is kind of middle of the road.. this week was full of fun stuff. Nothing off the charts crazy, but we did the blue claws home opener and a trip to the MSG for the Circus ( Thanks jen for those tickets)
i am thinking of revamping gleny.com or changing it ,but that would require work, so bare with me till i figure out what exactly i want to do..
cinco de mayo is fast approaching and once that hits BAM... summer is right there. next friday april 17th is the Headliner VIP exchange so we will be stopping there to see some DADDY POP And get our new cards.. all of you people out there that swap, you should come this nite..

facebook and the like
well the last 3 months, facebook has really had a boom of popularity.. so i obviously have some thoughts on that...
Facebook is kind of doing what myspace did 2 years ago.. they get a big boom, then they decide to sell more and more ads... face book is going to get even more run over with ads than mysapce did i think... they have that become a fan of stuff section, and now i get emails and all kinds of alerts about stuff that i am a fan of... and what i dont like is all these rumors.. facebook will never charge to be a member of it, it doesn't have to... they will just put ad banners everywhere to pay for stuff.. they have all those apps, each of them is paid for by a sponsor...
I have to take a moment and once again apologize for my lack of blogging... i really spend all my time on facebook... well i still work, and do the husband thing, March was loaded with events, feel free to check out all those photos..

march is here and even though it is still crazy cold out there, the parades are here..

THE POLARBEAR PLUNGE is feb 28th this year, and it is SEASIDE again, which is great,cuz the cops are very chill and i am not sure what the theme will be this year, but i am thinking about a leapord thong and loin cloth for myself.. so come on out, if you wanna register early it is SONJ.org. raise 100$ for special olympics, get a cool fleece. And free food.
ok, on to the schedule and some quick details

hard day of cleaning up in the manroom
Today I spent most of the day cleaning and straightening up the manroom.. Thanks to my buddy hollister, it is looking pretty good... There are a few events coming up in november and december and some of them require the manroom...The show? yup, the manroom show will be taping a couple episodes, we are looking to sell it to a network or something, so the next 2 episodes will be like pilots.. clean, scripted, fun, but still foot loose and frisky... the election
before i talk polotics, i want to say that when i went to the movies last friday nite to see nick and nora with the wife, we got there at 7:30 and that damn chiwawa movie was sold out.. Abso Ridiculous... Nick and Nora was a good flick, a tad cutsey, but with tons of gay humor and i like laughing at the gays.. they are entertaining people..

bed time
So the day didn't end as great as it started. Thrifting was ok, crackel barrell made me sick to my stomach. Never got to salon. We did cut the much needed grass. Then ate food. Then pretty much Did nothing. I am still not sure how much real life to put in my blog, I have this rep for being "gleny" and sometimes my life is just glen. I am sure most people could care less about my down time, or even if I think I have a lot of friends that just means a lot more chances for one of those people to let me down.
This week shows nothing great. Burlesque Alice in wonderland in NYC. I think about inviting people, but group outtings are a hassle sometimes, wouldn't mind a foursome. $15, leaving at like 6pm

Bloggin' from the iPhone, so going to keep it short, I am going to slowly transform gleny.com into a blogger site. Don't worry a format change won't stop the antics, there will still be a shitload of photos, but might try a few things I have always wanted to do. Stay tuned.

Her wink really capped off her classic republican cocky smirkish condesention well. Obama is up like 7%. But with my predicted 11% biggot vote, he is down 4%. But McCain annouced giving up on michigan, a swing state, so that might really hurt, he concede another one of the big 4 yellow states he is toast.

been a week
so I really have been trying to blog more, but that is harder than it sounds. At Rich's studio now taking a poop. Haven't had the greatest 4 weeks of my life, but things are looking up. Michelle is pregnant haha, just kidding! But we are talking about having a baby. Erik is away but when he returns we are filming 2 pilot like episodes of the manroom show. and i am having trouble will all the fact lies.. really, if you lower taxes for 95% of people and raise for those making over 250,000.. is that raising taxes for everyone?

SO I ASKED SANTINA about her take on 90210 ( the new one )
I honestly was a fan of the first episode of the new 90210. The acting wasn’t amazing, but that’s kind of how night time soaps go. Sure, I miss Dylan and David and some of my other favorites, but you can’t go wrong with Kelly Taylor and I NEVER thought I’d see Brenda Walsh again! Even though it has the same name, this show is a spin-off. Personally, I’m watching it as a new show, and am taking the glimpses into the past as little gifts.
In the first episode, we got to see Andrea Zuckerman’s daughter as the lead journalist at West Beverly, although now they’ve evolved from a newspaper to television reporting. I just wonder where mommy and daddy are… Andrea didn’t live with her parents, so maybe they’re not around either…Time will tell. We also got reacquainted with Kelly and David’s little sister Erin, who goes by the nickname “Silver” and runs a blog where she mocks her schoolmates – Clearly she got Kelly Taylor’s bitchiness and David Silver’s creativity.
Also back on the show is Nat, who runs the now “hip” coffee house by day/club by night, “the Pit”. No more “mega-burgers”, but the kids still hang out there.
And in scenes for next week, I am excited to see Kelly’s dysfunctional alcoholic mother, Jackie, will be back. Not to mention, who is the father of Kelly’s baby? We heard her talking to him on the phone, and they hinted that it might be Brandon, but I’ve got my fingers crossed for a daddy Dylan cameo…
The new kids were cute – I especially liked the new “Brenda”, now Annie, but wasn’t a huge fan of her brother Dixon…The two moved from Kansas with their parents Rob Estes and Full House’s Aunt Becky to live with their aging actress grandmother Tabitha, who I also thought was hilarious. I thought the ‘bitch’ in school, Naomi, played a good bitch (you might remember her as the teenage seductress from Nip/Tuck who tried to poison Julia) and her friend, Adriana, played a good drug/fame addict.
So to wrap it up, I’m loving the combo of old and new. No one ever got a BJ on the original, and I’m pretty sure no one ever said ‘vagina’, both of which happened within the first 10 minutes of this season, so obviously there’s a lot more the kids of West Beverly can get away with in this new millennium. I’m hoping for a Brenda/Kelly catfight, but I hear it’s not gonna happen. I want more info about my original cast members, but as long as I get a little in each episode I’ll be happy. Picking up the subtle clues to the past makes watching the new season like a game for the original fans.
We’re not 15 anymore, so if the show seems cheesy to you now, it’s because you’re getting old. It’s on the CW – What are you expecting? If you ask me, round 2 is awesome so far. Thank you for asking.

speech
i think obama's speech was great tonight.. i definitely like him finally attacking a little, and when he mentioned that he and mccain and all of america are americans and loved their country, i really think that will end the debate of the obamas not being patriots..
i do like how all the dems really were on message about saying mccain was a great soldier and how he is a great american, but right away say his judgment sucks and he will just give us 4 more years of bush crap.

so tonight the wife and i along with the HB and his gf, and dave and paragraphs went to see HAMLET 2.. ok today was a non day.. wife and i sat on the couch most of the day, her hungover and me lazy.. so when Paragraphs called to do something, we jumped at it.. and we jumped into going to see HAMLET 2

short reviews are my thing.. the movie was about 60% fresh like rotten tomatoes said.. It had a few belly laughs, but basically was just silly and ridiculous.. i would have to say though in a summer with a lot of good movies, it was near the bottom of what I have seen.. I mean Pineapple Express and Tropical Thunder were both way better than this one, if you want to compare them to laughable flicks.. The lead in HAMLET 2 was genius at times.. but if you haven't seen everything else out, i wouldn't recommend this one..

a shitty hump day...
ok, so i went to bed feeling well.. went to bar a last nite, had a couple drinks, mostly hang out with the wife, and ended up running into a few old friends.. neighbor joe was there as well as the HB and his gf.. and Matt Damon and some other scragglers. It was a decent enough time.. no major highlights, no blow my mind photo opps..
any who.. i wake up today around 1130 for the first time.. Dizzy and exhausted.. shaking and what not.. I go to check my blood pressure, for those who dont know i have like extreme hyper tension, like my 2 doctors have a pool to when i am having my frist stroke.. the pressure was pretty good for me 130/95.. which is about as good as it gets.. so feeling like shit, i go back to bed til like 2.. still i woke up fuzzy..
long story short I just rolled out of bed again, it is like 630... my office computer wont start.. seems to me like a power supply issue.. i am a little tweaked, actually using the wife's desktop ( which is new xmas and she barely uses it)
yesterday I took some promo shots for UPPER LEVEL entertainment group.. It is a bunch of DJs, Dj Prime and Dj Johnny are in it.. So the shoot went well.. It kind of inspired and idea.. Anyone out there need promo shots or headshots.. $100 headshots... let me know.. I quit my job last week and while looking, a little recreational income would be nice.. plus you aren't going to find them any cheaper than that.. just email.. fatherglen@aol.com or you can myspace.com/gleny and send me a message

sorry it has been so long
i have taken like 6 months off from blogging and for that i apologize.. I have also taken most of july and august off from being Gleny.com. Well I worked too much and all kinds of other stuff kept me from keeping up.
that will change. Starting tomorrow nite, i will be back out there being and ass and taking some great photos at bar a . I have really been beefing up my portfolio this summer though, and maybe i will even start to share some of my more professional stuff.
as for my blog.. I will be making an attempt to blog daily.. Of course like in the past a decent amount of people will read it, but no one really comments.. I will use it more to vent..

FAST SUMMER REVIEW OF tropical thunder... It was absurdly fabulous.. I highly recommend it and well it might offend you, i laught out loud and well often laughed so hard i teared up a little bit.. Stiller did a great job, jack black was ridiculous... and well rober downey jr killed it.. might be his best comedy work ever..

obama fever
so i haven't blogged in a long time.. i lost my password, but it is all reset and i work with this guy i work with blogs all the time, so i am back at it.
what have i missed.. McCain is the republic nominee.. and I really feel obama is going to make the demo one.. he has to just hold his ground for the next 3 on tuesday and i think hillary with quit.. oh that would be nice..
Just got home from bingo.. didnt win.,, that is lame. We were going to see jumpers, but mrs gleny is exhausted, so i think i am in for the nite.. Tomorrow is the PJ Party at the Headliner, so that will be good..
as far as photos, you know were to find them,, i did upload a photo a day for 2007.. if you missed all of the photos for the 2007 year, this is a fast way to catch up... as alway COMMENT on stuff folks..

been so busy i haven't blogged
sorry folks, i haven't had much time to blog.. What have i not blogged about.. hmm.... well episode 8 of the manroom show is next monday, we are over 1.6 million veiwers for the first 7 shows. So hard to beleive, but the world is eating this up!
so this week, we are doing a themed show... MANROON SHOW 2007- A SPACE ODDITY... should be great, AXEL FOLEY is the featured music act and it is going to be fun and frisky..
OH YEAH WE WENT TO THE FREAKIN PREAKNESS...
A full length preakness feature is in the works.. that was the first leg of the GDC triple crown of fun.. the 2nd jewel is the MERMAID PARADE and the 3rd jewel is JAYFEST 2007... keep watching for details.
